Lulu Group India has opened a new Lulu Daily store at JP Nagar 3rd Phase, Bengaluru. The store is Lulu Group’s seventh in Bengaluru and 22nd across India. The opening is part of the company’s expansion in the region.
Spread over 40,000 sqft, the store has a dedicated parking facility and offers everyday shopping options for families. The launch has also generated more than 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities for the local community.
Lulu Group India launched its 22nd store nationwide and seventh in Bengaluru, a 40,000 sqft Lulu Daily in JP Nagar 3rd Phase, offering everyday essentials and groceries, generating over 1,000 local employment opportunities.
The store was inaugurated by the Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), M Maheshwar Rao, IAS, in the presence of Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director Yusuff Ali M A.
Ashraf Ali M A, Executive Director, Lulu Group International; Ananth Ram Viswanath, Director and COO, Lulu International Holdings Ltd; V Nandakumar, Director of Marketing and Communications, Lulu Group International; Nishad M A, Director and CEO, Lulu Group India; Fahaz Ashraf, Director and COO, Lulu Group India; Noman Aziz Khan, Director of Karnataka, Lulu Group India; Jamal K P, Regional Manager, Lulu Karnataka Region; Noushad K, General Manager, Lulu Retail Karnataka; and other company representatives were also present.
Speaking at the launch, Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director Yusuff Ali said the new store would cater to the everyday shopping needs of families in JP Nagar, offering fresh produce and groceries under one roof.
For the unversed, Lulu Daily JP Nagar offers a range of everyday products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, poultry and seafood. The store also stocks grocery staples, dairy products, bakery items, beverages and packaged foods from Indian and international brands. Other products include cleaning supplies, personal care items, kitchenware and home utility products. Lulu Connect, a dedicated section, offers digital gadgets and electronic accessories.
The store has also introduced a festive range ahead of the October festive season. This includes traditional and contemporary sweets, ready to eat and heat and serve food options, gourmet products and festive gifting items from Indian and international brands.
Located at JP Nagar 3rd Phase, the store is accessible to residents of other phases of JP Nagar and neighbouring localities, including Jayanagar, BTM Layout, Banashankari, Puttenahalli, Sarakki and Uttarahalli, as well as areas along Bannerghatta Road and Kanakapura Road.
They are also offering discounts and promotional deals across several product categories until October 31.
Lulu Group India also has plans to open more outlets in Bengaluru including at Neeladri and four other locations, which are expected to open in the coming months.
