Ruchika Singh- who was booked for allegedly making abusive remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest in Delhi, is continuing as she remains missing.
Ruchika Singh, facing charges for alleged remarks against PM Narendra Modi during a Delhi protest, remains missing, as a Noida salon owner claims she trained there using the alias “Menshil” and did not submit identity documents.
The owner of a Noida-based salon where she had briefly received nail art training has made fresh claims about her identity.
According to the salon owner, Ruchika was never employed at the establishment and had allegedly introduced herself under a different name. He also claimed she failed to submit the mandatory identity documents required for trainees.
Salon Owner Claims She Was Only a Trainee
The salon owner said Ruchika visited the salon only to learn nail art from one of the staff members and was not part of the workforce. He added that whoever undergoing training is required to provide identity proof and also said that Ruchika never completed the documentation despite being reminded several times.
According to him, she attended the training for only about a week before stopping her visits.
‘She Introduced Herself as Menshil’
The salon owner further claimed that the woman did not identify herself as Ruchika Singh.
Instead, he alleged that she introduced herself as “Menshil”, which, according to him, was also the name linked to her Instagram profile and the one entered in the salon’s register.
He said the salon later realised that she had not submitted any official identity documents and informed her that she would not be allowed to continue without completing the formalities.
The owner added that June 9 was the last day she visited the salon.
Staff Member Says Mother Requested Training
A salon employee named Shalini also spoke about the incident and said she first came in contact with Ruchika through her mother.
According to Shalini, Ruchika’s mother had requested that her daughter be taught nail art so she could learn a skill.
She said Ruchika attended the training for only four to five days before the salon insisted on receiving her Aadhaar card, as required for all trainees and employees.
When the documents were not submitted, the training was discontinued.
