Ram Charan has delivered one of the biggest box-office successes of his career with Peddi, which has stormed past the ₹248 crore mark worldwide within just five days of its theatrical run. Backed by strong word-of-mouth and massive support from Telugu-speaking audiences, the film has emerged as a dominant force at the ticket counters across India and overseas.

According to trade figures, Peddi has grossed ₹248.92 crore worldwide, including ₹201.92 crore from India and ₹47 crore from international markets. The film’s net collection currently stands at ₹169.70 crore, achieved through an impressive 49,364 shows.

Ram Charan’s film Peddi has achieved a major box-office success, surpassing ₹248 crore worldwide within five days, earning ₹201.92 crore in India and ₹47 crore overseas, with significant contributions from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The film got off to a flying start with paid premieres and early screenings on Day 0 (Wednesday), collecting ₹21.83 crore gross and ₹18.50 crore net with an excellent 72 per cent occupancy. The momentum only intensified on its official opening day as Peddi raked in a massive ₹60.66 crore gross on Thursday, making it one of the biggest opening days of the year.

While collections dipped on Friday to ₹32 crore, the film quickly regained momentum over the weekend. Saturday brought in ₹34.88 crore, followed by an even stronger Sunday performance of ₹38.25 crore. The weekend surge highlighted the film’s appeal among family audiences and mass viewers alike.

As expected, the first Monday witnessed a sharp drop, with collections settling at ₹14.30 crore gross. However, the figure remains robust by industry standards and indicates that the film has retained a substantial section of its audience despite the weekday slowdown.

Occupancy trends also reflected the film’s strong theatrical performance. After registering 45.5 per cent occupancy on opening day, the film maintained healthy footfalls through the weekend, peaking at 41.5 per cent on Sunday before dropping to 22.4 per cent on Monday.

The Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been the primary drivers of the film’s phenomenal run. Out of the total ₹180.09 crore domestic regional collection reported so far, the APTG region alone contributed a staggering ₹137.10 crore, accounting for more than three-fourths of the film’s earnings.

Karnataka emerged as the second-largest market for the film, generating ₹19.13 crore over five days. The state witnessed particularly strong weekend growth, benefiting from Ram Charan’s popularity among Telugu audiences residing there.

Tamil Nadu contributed ₹4.55 crore, while Kerala added ₹0.58 crore. The Rest of India markets collectively generated ₹18.73 crore, showcasing the film’s reach beyond its core Telugu-speaking audience.

Day-wise, the APTG market remained exceptionally strong, contributing ₹48 crore on opening day alone. Collections remained steady through the weekend with ₹25 crore on Friday, ₹25.5 crore on Saturday and ₹27.6 crore on Sunday before easing to ₹11 crore on Monday.

The overseas market has also played a crucial role in the film’s success, contributing ₹47 crore to the worldwide total. Combined with its dominant domestic performance, Peddi has established itself as one of the biggest box-office winners of 2026 so far.

With a worldwide gross nearing ₹250 crore in just five days and several territories continuing to report strong occupancy, all eyes are now on how quickly Peddi enters the coveted ₹300 crore club. If the film maintains reasonable weekday holds and capitalises on the upcoming weekend, Ram Charan’s latest blockbuster could scale even greater box-office heights in the days ahead.
