Who Was RB Choudary?
Since 1988, RB Choudary built Super Good Films into a key production house that supported Indian cinema in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. The company backed landmark films, including the Malayalam success Keerthi Chakra, along with a long list of Tamil titles that strengthened regional and national film links.
RB Choudary’s breakthrough in Tamil cinema came with Pudhu Vasantham in 1990, which won a Tamil Nadu State Film Award and gave the producer wide recognition. The thriller Puriyada Puthir, directed by KS Ravikumar, further raised his profile. Later, he bankrolled hits like Nattamai, Suryavamsam and Thulladha Manamum Thullum.

RB Choudary married Mahjabeen, who is from Tamil Nadu. The couple have four sons: Suresh Choudary, Jeevan Choudary, Jeeva and Jithan Ramesh. Suresh produced films for Super Good Films, while Jeevan runs a steel company.
