Noida resident Ruchika Singh infamous for allegedly using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on July 23 is back with yet another video.

In the clip, the woman, who is purported to be Ruchika, appears to take a defiant tone while speaking about PM Modi. She allegedly calls him a ‘coward’, says ‘you have made my life hell’ and insists that she will not back down.

A new, unverified video reportedly shows Noida resident Ruchika Singh speaking defiantly to PM Modi, following controversy over alleged offensive remarks made at a July 23 protest in Delhi; police previously filed a complaint regarding the incident.

Ruchika Singh s New Viral Video Allegedly Calls PM Modi Made My Life Hell

The timing of the video is also noteworthy, coming just days ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest scheduled for September 5. The CJP has announced a ‘peaceful march’ from India Gate to Delhi Police headquarters, alleging that the Centre has failed to honour assurances that prompted it to call off its 36-day agitation at Jantar Mantar on July 25.

The video has quickly started circulating online but OneIndia cannot independently verify that the woman in the clip is Ruchika Singh. The date, location and circumstances of the recording are also unclear.

The clip comes weeks after an earlier video in which a woman identifying herself as Ruchika claimed to be 15 years old and apologised for the alleged remarks made during the protest.

However, in the latest clip, the woman allegedly says that she has been hounded following the controversy and has had to hide her face in public. “Modi ji, you have made my life hell,” she is heard saying.

She also allegedly says she has nothing to lose and uses strong language while addressing the Prime Minister.

The video has triggered a fresh debate on social media, with reactions divided between those supporting the woman and those questioning the circumstances surrounding the clip.

Is the video really of Ruchika Singh?

There is no independent confirmation yet. Neither the identity of the woman nor the authenticity of the video has been independently established. It is also unclear when or where the recording was made.

As a result, the statements attributed to the woman should be treated as allegations rather than verified facts.

How did the Ruchika Singh controversy begin?

The controversy dates back to a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on July 23. The protest came under the scanner following allegations that offensive remarks had been made against PM Modi and his late mother.

A complaint was subsequently filed, and the Noida Police registered a Zero FIR on July 29. The matter was later transferred to the Delhi Police. The case also became embroiled in questions over Ruchika’s age.

While initial complaints and reports described her as 25, a woman identifying herself as Ruchika later appeared in an apology video and claimed she was 15.

In that video, she apologised for the alleged remarks and said she had attended the protest with friends. She also said she had been influenced by the people and atmosphere around her at the event. The complainant later clarified that the information about her identity and age had been sourced from social media comments and had not been personally verified.

PM Modi had appealed for leniency

PM Modi had called for a lenient approach towards young people amid the controversy.

The apology video went viral, while police were reported to be examining her claim of being a minor before deciding on further action.

Later reports said the complaint had been withdrawn and that the matter would not be pursued further.
