The Gurugram woman biker hit and run case has become a discussion on social media and now woman biker Sia’s family has spoken about the matter. Sia’s family has spoken about the incident and how it has affected their daughter.
Gurugram biker Sia experienced trauma after allegedly being harassed by four drunk men in a car; her family plans legal action, and police registered an FIR following the viral spread of a video documenting the incident.
Sia’s brother told ANI that she was going through something similar to “trauma” after the incident. He also said that Sia has told him that there were four people inside car and “all of them were drunk.”
“You must have seen the video; she was signalling them to keep their distance. Yet, they rolled down their window and made very offensive gestures,” Sia’s brother told ANI.
Brother Says Sia Was Left Traumatised
According to Sia’s brother, the incident took place between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. He claimed the men in the car may have been drinking through the night before encountering Sia on the road.
“This happened between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. The men had likely been out drinking since the night before and encountered her on the road in the morning. She is experiencing something akin to trauma,” he said.

He added that the family plans to take legal action. Sia’s lawyer has already spoken to the station house officer (SHO) regarding the next steps, he said, adding that the family would also file an FIR.
Sia’s Father Says He Would Have Filed FIR Earlier
Sia’s father said he learned about the incident only on Monday. He said he would have approached the police earlier if he had known about it.
“I only found out about the accident an hour ago. Otherwise, I would have gone and filed an FIR myself,” he told ANI.
He also expressed concern that the incident happened during the day. “It wasn’t even night; it happened during the day. We are fortunate that our daughter wasn’t hurt,” he said.
The father added that he later asked Sia why she had not informed the family after returning home.
Family Plans Legal Action
Sia’s brother said the family is now focused on taking legal action over the incident. His comments came after Sia’s video describing the alleged incident was widely shared on social media.
Gurugram police had taken suo motu cognisance of the matter and registered an FIR after the video gained attention online.
