An Instagram influence who mocked RAF (Rapid Action Force) officers in one of her social media video, is now facing criticism and trolling for the video that went viral. The video was spread a lot during the protest and many social media users accused her for insulting the uniformed officers.
Instagram influencer Shradha Singh faced backlash for a viral video mocking RAF officers. After deleting the clip and apologizing, she reported receiving abusive messages and death threats.
As soon the video and controversy extended, she removed the video and posted an apology video, she said that she has deleted the video and now she is receiving abusive and death threat messages.
What Sparked the Controversy?
The controversy started after an influencer Shradha Singh shared a video featuring joke about RAF officers who were there in the blue uniforms. In the clip, she mocked the personnel due to their colour of uniform, she said “Neela wala toilet ke liye,” and she herself was in red dress and pointed out on herself by saying “Laal bathroom ke liye.”
This video went viral on social media where many social media users slammed her for insensitive remarks and disrespectful comments for the security personnel.
Influencer Says Video Was Deleted Quickly
Shraddha Singh who shared the video said she realised the mistake as soon as she uploaded the video and deleted it in an hour. However, she says that people have already downloaded the video and now they are being shared and reposted on other social media platforms.
She uploaded another video of apology and said, “Meme pages are sharing my videos coz they are paid.” She also made an appeal to the users to stop abusing her and giving death threats “Maine itni bhi badi galti nhi ki hai ki aaplog mujhe gali de.”

Why the Incident Matters
During the time of CJP Protest, many of social media users uploaded video related to disrespect to Police personnel, CRPF personnel, and RAF personnel, even in some of the videos they were doing some derogatory remarks against them.
Now this video and the controversy is the example how some time getting in influenced by the time and uploading some sensitive contents can led to backlash after things gets settled. One should always think of the content which they are uploading can go against the uploader itself.
