In the latest development, actors Vijay Sethupathi and Simran have been announced as the brand ambassadors for Regal Jewellers as the South India-based jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler makes its entry into the Tamil Nadu market.

Informing that the company will open its first showroom in the state at T.Nagar, Chennai on July 31, marking a major milestone.
Along with unveiling the two stars as the faces of the brand in Tamil Nadu, Regal Jewellers also launched its new campaign, “Indha Maatram… Adhu Nalladhu Dhaane?”, which encourages customers to buy jewellery directly from the manufacturer.
Focus On Manufacturer-Direct Jewellery Shopping
With a legacy of 48 years, Regal Jewellers said its expansion into Tamil Nadu aims to offer customers a more transparent and value-driven jewellery shopping experience. The company plans to sell certified jewellery directly from the manufacturer at wholesale prices, eliminating intermediaries.
According to the company, the campaign promotes the idea of buying jewellery directly from the source while ensuring quality craftsmanship, transparent pricing and certified products.
Company Shares Expansion Vision
Speaking about the expansion, Vibin Shivdas, Managing Director and CEO of Regal Jewellers, said the company wants to redefine the jewellery-buying experience for customers in Tamil Nadu.
He said purchasing directly from a manufacturer and wholesaler provides greater transparency and better value, which forms the core message of the new campaign.
Shivdas added that the Chennai showroom is only the beginning of Regal Jewellers’ long-term growth plans in the state, with several more outlets planned in the future.
Plans To Generate Over 2,000 Jobs
As part of its expansion strategy, Regal Jewellers announced plans to create more than 2,000 employment opportunities across Tamil Nadu over the coming years.
The company said recruitment will take place across retail operations, customer service, merchandising, logistics, administration and support functions. It also plans to provide structured training programmes, career advancement opportunities and competitive salary packages to employees.
The Chennai outlet will serve as Regal Jewellers’ first showroom in Tamil Nadu. The company has also announced plans to expand into Puducherry, followed by nearly 10 showrooms across the state in the coming years.
