Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay was spotted with actress Trisha Krishnan at Silverstone in the UK on Saturday, where actor Ajith Kumar was taking part in the Le Mans race.
A brief video from the venue showing Vijay standing next to Trisha has gone viral on social media. The two have been linked by rumours for several years, and their appearance together at the racing event has once again caught the attention of fans and social media users.
Tamil Nadu CM Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan were seen supporting actor Ajith Kumar at Silverstone, UK, during a 2026 Le Mans race championship round. Vijay flagged the race start and discussed potential motorsport events in Chennai with Ajith.

Vijay was at Silverstone to support Ajith, one of his close friends from the film industry, who was competing in the fifth round of the 2026 championship. Minister for Public Works and Sports Development Aadhav Arjuna is also seen in the clip.
The actor-turned-politician also waved the green flag to officially signal the start of the race. Videos from the circuit showed Ajith greeting Vijay before the event, with the two later seen interacting and posing for photographs.
One of the clips showed Vijay running towards Ajith and embracing him. Another video captured the two exchanging greetings on stage before the race.
Trisha was also seen at the venue. In a video circulating online, she was seen making her way through a security area wearing a white top, blue jeans and a brown jacket.

The presence of Vijay, Ajith and Trisha at the same event quickly became a talking point online, with several videos from Silverstone being widely shared.
Ajith is competing in the LMP3 Pro/Am category for Ajith RedAnt by Virage, alongside French driver Romain Vozniak. Former Formula One driver Narain Karthikeyan and Aditya Patel are competing for Ajith RedAnt Racing in the LMP3 category.
Ajith also spoke about Vijay’s visit and said his long-time colleague had taken time out of his busy schedule to attend the event.
“C Joseph is taking time off his busy schedule to come and visit us at Silverstone. We’ve been colleagues in the film industry for the last 34 years, and I’m very happy for him that he is now the Chief Minister-elect,” Ajith said.
He also expressed hope that events from the Le Mans series could eventually be hosted in India, particularly in Chennai.
According to Ajith, Vijay’s visit could help give the Tamil Nadu government a closer look at the infrastructure and logistical requirements involved in hosting international motorsport events.
“They have been doing a lot to promote sports from every discipline, not just motorsport. They’re looking at motorsport as well,” Ajith said.
He added that he was pleased Vijay had accepted the invitation to see what would be required for Chennai to host Le Mans series events.
Vijay’s visit to Silverstone comes soon after he unveiled a development roadmap for Chennai that included proposals for dedicated Olympic and motorsport cities in the state capital.
With Vijay now holding public office and Ajith continuing his involvement in motorsport, their meeting at Silverstone has drawn considerable attention, while the brief appearance of Trisha alongside Vijay has added another layer of interest to the videos emerging from the event.
