On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party criticized the massive INDIA bloc rally at Ramlila Maidan, calling it a “super flop” and saying that a big part of the ground was still vacant.

BJP MP Sambit Patra criticized the INDIA bloc rally at Ramlila Maidan as a ‘super flop’, questioning its crowd size and calling it ‘trick photography’. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi attacked PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral malpractice.
Sambit Patra, BJP Member of Parliament, targeted Congress opposition leader and Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi. He asked how far is the claim of the Opposition of large numbers of participants. He even questioned where were those 10 lakhs of people expected to participate in the rally.
This was the Opposition rally, which was held to bring up issues of electoral malpractice and vote chori. Many leaders of the INDIA bloc participated in this rally and attacked the BJP government and Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Sambit Patra Calls INDIA Bloc Rally A ‘Super Flop’
A video released by him showed that almost 40 percent of the Ramlila Maidan is vacant, while he has also raised questions about the ability of the Congress to fill the ground, with an estimated capacity of 50,000 people.
“Rahul Gandhi is speaking and empty chairs. Congress couldn’t even fill full Ramlila Maidan of capacity 50,000. Super Flop Rally,” Patra tweeted.
Addressing the media, the MP of BJP stated that his party has been watching the rally since morning and hearing Rahul Gandhi’s speech, but he said it was just a wastage of time.
Patra has raised questions on the opposition’s claim of filling up 10 lakhs of people in the rally.

‘Where Were The 10 Lakh People?’: BJP MP Questions Crowd Size
Lashing out once again at Rahul Gandhi, Patra said that political leadership could not be won with publicity stunts.
“Where are the 10 lakh people? Prove it to us. Nobody can become a leader or PM by doing such tricks,” he said.
Patra further used the words ‘Paseena’ and ‘Mehnat’ to attack the Congress leader, saying that to become a PM one needed hard work and dedication.
Patra accused the Opposition of making use of angles of the camera to make the crowds look more than they actually were, calling it “trick photography”.
Speaking about his attack on Rahul Gandhi, Patra said, “Rahul ji, Hindustan is not your abujan’s property. Hindustan belongs to Hindustanis. Even a chaiwala here can become PM and that worries you.”
#WATCH | Delhi: BJP MP Sambit Patra says, “Rahul Gandhi ji, this India does not belong to your Abbu Jaan. This India belongs to the people of India. Even a tea seller can become Prime Minister and an ordinary person can become Home Minister in this democracy. And that is what bothers you. Rahul Gandhi ji, you are neither Shiv nor is the chaos you want to plunge India into any Shiv Ji Ki Baraat. This is not Shiv Jis Baraat. This is nothing but a spectacle of chaos.”

Rahul Gandhi Will Never Shop From Chandni Chowk
BJP MP Sambit Patra says, “Have you ever seen Rahul Gandhi ji shopping in Chandni Chowk? Look at his passport, the Vietnam stamp is already there, and so is the Bangkok, Thailand stamp. He said he would go shopping, but he never said he would shop here. Where he will go shopping, everyone sitting here already knows.”

Patra says, “Infiltrators are the vote bank of Mamata Banerjee, Rahul Gandhi and their allies. Only Indian citizens can be voters in India. Infiltrators cannot be voters in India. Mamata Banerjee can call us cowards or use any name from the dictionary. It does not matter. We are brave, and we will do whatever it takes for the country. Infiltrators entering the country, becoming voters and ruling India while we sit silently will absolutely never happen.”
#WATCH | Delhi: BJP MP Sambit Patra says, “Where were the 10 lakh people? Show us. No one becomes a leader or Prime Minister through such tricks. PM doesnt just mean Prime Minister. P stands for Paseena (sweat) and M stands for Mehnat (hard work). A Prime Minister is made through sweat and hard work. Despite bringing together so many parties and flags, they could not manage to gather 10 lakh people.”

Rahul Gandhi Targets Modi, Amit Shah And Gyanesh Kumar
The BJP’s remarks came after Rahul Gandhi launched a strong attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar during the rally.
Gandhi accused the BJP-led government of weakening democratic institutions and alleged irregularities in the electoral process.
He said Gyanesh Kumar would be removed from his post and face legal consequences, using the term “treason” while describing the action he believed should follow.
Gandhi also warned Modi and Shah that they would face accountability over the Opposition’s allegations of vote theft.
Referring to Amit Shah’s statement that Narendra Modi was not going anywhere, Gandhi said, “Amit Shah ji said Narendra Modi is not going anywhere. I am telling you the opposite: Narendra Modi cannot go anywhere; even if he wants to go, we will not let him.”
INDIA Bloc Rally Focuses On Alleged ‘Vote Chori’
The INDIA bloc organised the gathering at Ramlila Maidan to protest against alleged electoral irregularities and raise the issue of ‘vote chori’.
Opposition leaders accused the Election Commission and the BJP-led government of undermining the electoral process. The rally also saw speeches by leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Mamata Banerjee and Akhilesh Yadav.
The BJP, meanwhile, dismissed the Opposition’s claims and focused on questioning the size of the gathering.
