A 28-year-old man allegedly died after jumping from the 41st floor of Noida’s Supernova building on Saturday morning. The deceased man has been identified as Sambhav Jain, who had come to Supernova for one-day stay.

A 28-year-old man, Sambhav Jain, reportedly died Saturday morning after jumping from the 41st floor of Noida’s Supernova building, telling AC repair workers he was depressed. Police are investigating the incident and examining evidence.
According to Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate, Jain was spotted hanging from the balcony railing by AC repair workers who were working in a nearby flat. The workers at the building tried to speak to him and convince him to stay away from the railing.
Who Was Sambhav Jain?
Sambhav Jain was the son of Vinay Kumar Jain and lived in Tower A of IMT View CGHS in Manesar, Gurugram. Police said he had arrived at the Supernova building alone and was staying there for a short period.
The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Sector 126 police station. Police were alerted soon after Sambhav jumped from the apartment balcony.
‘I’m Depressed’: What Jain Told AC Workers
The AC repair workers reportedly noticed Jain while he was hanging from the balcony railing. They attempted to persuade him to step back and continued speaking to him.
During the interaction, Jain allegedly told the workers, “I’m depressed.” He then jumped from the balcony, resulting in his death.
A video purportedly showing the incident later surfaced online. The footage shows a man hanging from the balcony before falling from the high-rise. The video has since been widely circulated on social media.

Police Begin Investigation Into Noida Death
Following the incident, a police team reached the Supernova building and began collecting evidence. Officials said the inquest proceedings have been completed and the postmortem examination is underway.
A Forensic Science Laboratory team also inspected the spot. Police are examining CCTV footage from the building and nearby areas to establish the sequence of events before Jain’s death.
Investigators have also questioned people who were present near the building at the time. Police said their initial inquiry indicated that Jain was under mental stress.
His family has been informed about the incident. Police said all aspects of the case are being investigated and further legal action will be taken based on the findings.
