A delivery worker’s simple act of honesty has won hearts online after he noticed a woman’s main door had been left open and chose not to walk away. The incident, shared on Instagram, showed the delivery worker arriving at the woman’s house only to find that her main door had been left unlocked and open while she was away. Instead of leaving the package outside and moving on, he immediately called her to let her know about the situation.
He reportedly informed her over the phone that her “main door is open” and made sure she was aware of the risk. In a gesture that has now earned widespread praise online, he did not stop there. He stayed back and ensured the parcel was safely placed inside the house rather than leaving it unattended outside.

When the woman returned home, she recorded the interaction and thanked the delivery worker for what he had done. During the video, she asked for his name, to which he introduced himself as “Brother Amzad.”
Clearly moved by his honesty and concern, she expressed her gratitude warmly and said, “give me a high five that you called me and you protected my cat… And you left the parcel safely. Thank you so much.”
She later added, “I have faith in humanity again. Thank you.”
