Bigg Boss season 20 is all set to give viewers a direct chance to decide its contestant lineup. Salman Khan has now revived ‘Fans Ka Faisla’ concept, with introducing Rhiya Ahir and Love Gill for competing for one place in Bigg Boss house. Now the contestant who will get the highest vote will enter the place in Bigg Boss house. Voting is now being conducted through JioHotstar app.
Bigg Boss season 20 revives Salman Khan’s ‘Fans Ka Faisla’ concept, enabling viewers to vote via JioHotstar between model Riya Ahir and Punjabi actor Love Gill for a single contestant spot, with voting open until September 2nd.
Rhiya Ahir Gets Another Shot At The Bigg Boss House
Rhiya Ahir is a 27-year-old model who recently became popular after one her video showing her standing in front of Mumbai Polcie van during the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak protest. She intervened after seeing the police arrested protesters, later the video went viral on social media.
Besides her modelling and acting career, she also has appeared in some music videos including Dilbara. She is also an entrepreneur and founded a luxury handcrafted apparel label Rhiyasat that mainly works for Indian artisans. She has good social media following also with around 324,000 followers.
Who Is Love Gill?
Love Gill is a Punjabi model and actor who is best known for television shows like Tu Patang Main Dor. She also has appeared in Punjabi films like Haterz, Shakkar Paare, Vekhi Ja Chhedi Na, Furlow and Hanji Kaun?
Love Gill has better fan following on social media with around 600,000 Instagram followers. She is now in direct competition with Rhiya and Love Gill to get place in Bigg Boss 20 house.
Fans Ka Faisla Returns After Bigg Boss 19
This voting format of Fans Ka Faisal was introduced in Bigg Boss season 19, the viewers had to chose between content creator Mridul Tiwari and Shehbaz Badesha. Where Shehbaz Badesha lost to Mridul, although Shehbaz later joined the show as wildcard.
This time the voting is expected to remain open till 2 September and the winner set to be revealed only on the premier night.
Salman Khan the host of the show spoke about the season 20, saying, “The game in Bigg Boss changes every year. This time, it’s not just the game that’s changing, but the way it is played as well. ‘Jeevan Daan’ isn’t as straightforward as it sounds. As for the rest-well, you’ll find out once inside the house.”
