Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday asked educators and institutions to train youth in advanced subjects, including artificial intelligence AI. Yogi Adityanath said this would help students face new challenges. Yogi Adityanath also said farmers must be supported, as this helps society develop in a balanced way.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked educators and institutions to train young people in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and space sciences to meet future challenges. Chairing a Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad meeting, he also called for farmer empowerment and directed that programmes align with the National Education Policy 2020 and remain employment-oriented.

Chairing a meeting of the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, Yogi Adityanath said society must be ready for current and future needs. Yogi Adityanath said a secure future depends on strengthening both young people and the farming community. Yogi Adityanath said institutional leaders should act with this goal.

Artificial intelligence AI training and new-age skills for youth

Yogi Adityanath said heads of institutions and teachers should teach skills linked to the modern economy. Yogi Adityanath asked them to focus on artificial intelligence AI, cybersecurity, and space sciences. Yogi Adityanath also said staff should keep learning and use technology, as needs change over time.

Yogi Adityanath directed that youth from eastern Uttar Pradesh should get training in advanced science fields. Yogi Adityanath said the Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology and the Centre of Excellence should lead this work. Yogi Adityanath urged stakeholders to build a skilled and technically capable workforce in the region.

National Education Policy 2020 and education aligned to jobs

Referring to the National Education Policy 2020, Yogi Adityanath said courses under Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad should match its aims. Yogi Adityanath said education must be employment-oriented. Yogi Adityanath said this would reduce difficulties for students seeking opportunities after graduation.

Yogi Adityanath said updated curricula should match present-day demands. Yogi Adityanath said programmes should also prepare students for emerging challenges. Yogi Adityanath said technical education must be strengthened across campuses, as the world is changing rapidly.

Krishi Vigyan centres and support for farmers

Yogi Adityanath said efforts should speed up to make farmers self-reliant through Krishi Vigyan agro-science centres. Yogi Adityanath instructed institutional heads to train local farmers. Yogi Adityanath said farmers should also learn advanced farming techniques for stronger and steady livelihoods.

Yogi Adityanath also called for wider healthcare services for common people. Yogi Adityanath said facilities should reach those who need them most. Yogi Adityanath linked these steps to broader social development, alongside better education and farmer support.

Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad centenary year planning

Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad was founded in 1932 by Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj. Yogi Adityanath, as president of the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, asked for early planning. Yogi Adityanath urged preparations for celebrating the centenary year in 2032 in a grand manner.

During the meeting, Yogi Adityanath directed the formulation of detailed action plans for the 2032 centenary. Yogi Adityanath asked the institution to begin the work immediately. Yogi Adityanath said coordinated steps by leaders and staff would help meet education, farmer, and public needs.
