Messaging platform Telegram has reportedly been removed from the iOS App Store worldwide, leaving many iPhone users unable to find or download the app through Apple store.
Several users reported that Telegram no longer appears in App Store search results across different countries. At the time of writing, neither Apple nor Telegram has explained why the app was removed.
Apple has removed the Telegram app from the global iOS App Store without providing a reason; neither Apple nor Telegram has issued an official statement, but existing installations continue to work.
However, despite the disappearance from the App ios Store, the Telegram app continues to work normally for users who already have Telegram installed on their iPhones. Existing users can still access their chats and use the platform without any noticeable disruption.

The removal means that new users, or those who deleted the app and want to reinstall it, are currently unable to download Telegram through the iOS App Store.
It remains unclear whether the removal is temporary or is it due to any technical issue or linked to an App Store review process. Until Apple or Telegram provides clarification, new iPhone users will not be able to download the app from the App Store.
In India, Telegram, with over 150 million users, was temporarily blocked for a week this year over what the government called a last-ditch attempt to halt an effort to defraud students preparing for the NEET entrance exam for medical colleges.
While the latest disappearance has caught users by surprise, this isn’t the first time Telegram has run into trouble with Apple. Back in 2018, Apple briefly pulled Telegram and its companion app, Telegram X, from the App Store after raising concerns over the presence of inappropriate content on the platform. The apps were restored only after Telegram introduced moderation measures to address Apple’s concerns.
