Rumours of a wedding between music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Sunrisers Hyderabad executive Kavya Maran circulated online but were denied by Anirudh Ravichander, with no official confirmation or verified evidence supporting the claims.
The latest wave of gossip reportedly began with a viral social media post that hinted at a relationship between the popular music composer and the Sunrisers Hyderabad executive. Soon after, Reddit threads and entertainment pages began circulating claims that the pair had been dating for years now.
However, none of the reports were backed by official statements, photographs confirming a relationship, or comments from either family. Most of the speculation appeared to rely entirely on anonymous social media chatter and alleged sightings.
Adding further fuel to the rumours was an old viral video that allegedly showed Anirudh and Kavya together in New York. Though the clip resurfaced online and reignited dating speculation, neither of them publicly commented on the video or acknowledged any relationship.

Anirudh’s Clarification
As online discussions gathered momentum, Anirudh had earlier addressed the issue directly through his official X account. Dismissing the reports outright, the composer wrote: “Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys. Pls stop spreading rumours.”
The post currently stands as the only direct public response from either Anirudh or Kavya regarding the alleged wedding plans. His statement clearly denied claims that a marriage announcement was around the corner.
Is There Truth To The Claims?
Despite continued online chatter, there is presently no verified evidence to suggest that the two are dating, engaged or planning a wedding. No official confirmation has been issued by either side, and the speculation remains unsupported.
Anirudh continues to be one of India’s busiest and most successful music composers, having delivered chartbusters for films such as Jawan, Leo and Jailer. Known for his energetic music and massive fan following, he remains a prominent figure in Indian cinema.
Kavya Maran, meanwhile, has emerged as a familiar public personality through her association with Sunrisers Hyderabad. She is also the daughter of media baron Kalanithi Maran and is often seen supporting her IPL franchise during matches.
