Bengaluru residents in several parts of the city should be prepared for power cuts on August 29 and 30 as Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) carries out scheduled maintenance work.
According to information shared by Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), power supply will be interrupted in areas under the Rajanakunte and Kadugodi substations during the maintenance period. The outages are expected to last from morning until afternoon.
Bengaluru will experience power outages on August 29 and 30 from 10 am to 4 pm due to KPTCL maintenance affecting areas under the Rajanakunte and Kadugodi substations, respectively.
KPTCL has taken a line clearance (LC) for its second-quarter maintenance work. As a result, residents in the affected areas may experience a temporary disruption in electricity supply.

Power supply will be affected from 10 am to 4 pm in areas served by the Rajanakunte substation.

Residents in these localities are advised to plan their day accordingly, particularly if they depend on electricity for work, school or other essential activities.
Bengaluru power cut on August 30
Power supply will also be disrupted in areas under the Kadugodi substation on August 30, with the scheduled maintenance expected to continue from 10 am to 4 pm.
