Raipur, Sept 17: In a massive show of public participation, Chhattisgarh on Thursday lit over 1.50 crore ‘Aashirwad Ke Diye’ across the state. This grand initiative was organized under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to celebrate and mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service.
The entire state, from rural villages to bustling urban centers, illuminated simultaneously as citizens from all walks of life came together for the event. Women, youth, farmers, laborers, and students actively participated, lighting earthen lamps at temples, public squares, crossroads, and prominent state landmarks. At several locations, the diyas were meticulously arranged to form stunning patterns and patriotic messages.
