Actor Dhanush’s fan welfare organisation is now spreading its activities at the constituency level, with membership drive announced for five constituency in Coimbatore. This move started just after Dhanush introduced a flag for his organisation and described the using strength of his fans for public welfare. That added a fuel to speculations of him entering the politics.

Actor Dhanush’s fan welfare organisation has initiated a membership drive across five specific constituencies in Coimbatore, including Coimbatore North and Kavundampalayam, potentially signaling political aspirations.
Dhanush’s Welfare Activities Take A Political Turn
Dhanush has now increased his all focus on organising his fan base around his welfare activities. During a big welfare programme took place at his birthday, Dhanush also asked his supporters to do more than just gathering for events.
“There is great strength in our unity, and it has a purpose. We should not just come together, take photographs and leave. If people around you are facing problems, help them. Extend welfare assistance to them. Everyone should join hands in this effort,” Dhanush said.
Now has statement is giving hints of future politics as earlier also Tamil film stars have used their fans support in their political journey, Thalapathy Vijay’s political journey is an example of it.
Membership Drive Begins In Five Seats
This Dhanush Welfare Movement has not announced membership enrolment and formation of local units in five constituencies of Coimbatore district.
The five constituencies are:
- Coimbatore North
- Kavundampalayam
- Singanallur
- Sulur
- Mettupalayam
People who are interested in joining the organisation or creating a unit have been asked to meet the Coimbatore district head.
Why Coimbatore Move Has Drawn Attention
These constituencies have gained a lot of attention after all five were won by Actor Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party in last assembly elections.
Interestingly, Coimbatore district has 10 assembly constituencies, including Coimbatore South which was won by DMK has not been included in the current membership drive.
Well, the constituency-based approach can simple be an effort to strength Dhanush’s welfare network, but the timing and the selective geography has given some other hints to it.
