Leadership, Participants and Goals
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke is leading the demonstration. He is a 30-year-old journalist originally from Maharashtra. Activist Sonam Wangchuk is expected to attend the event. Wangchuk supports the demand for the minister’s resignation. He argues that the education system needs deeper structural changes. He feels disappointed by the lack of progress.
The party emerged as a reaction to past court remarks. Chief Justice Surya Kant once labelled some people as “cockroaches”. The outfit began as a satirical response to that. It has since grown into a massive online campaign. Its Instagram account now has over 22 million followers.
Organisational Structure and Plans
The group has introduced three spokespersons for better outreach. Investigative journalist Saurav Das serves as the chief spokesperson. Political researcher Vijeta Dahiya also represents the organisation. Former consultant Ashutosh Ranka acts as a public spokesperson, too. They claim they will operate within all legal boundaries.
The party has issued clear guidelines for the protest. Attendees should carry the national flag and a book. Organisers have advised people to stay well-hydrated. They suggest wearing caps and sunscreen for safety. They also warned demonstrators to avoid engaging with trolls.
