Mr. Shahnawaz Khan, S/o Seraj Khan, Founder of BIIT Campus, has emerged as one of India’s promising education entrepreneurs, dedicating his life to empowering young people through quality education, skill development, and career-oriented learning. His inspiring journey is not one of overnight success but of resilience, sacrifice, and an unwavering belief that education has the power to transform lives. His story began long before BIIT Campus became a recognised name. During his teenage years, while studying in Class 10, financial challenges made higher education seem uncertain. Around the age of fourteen or fifteen, a friend introduced him to a computer course with subsidised fees. That small opportunity ignited a lifelong passion for technology. Although he had admired computers since his school days, this became the turning point that shaped his future. Determined to learn, he began studying computers with complete dedication. Even before establishing his own institute, he spent years teaching computer education, often without receiving any salary. Every day demanded long hours of travel and immense personal sacrifice, but his commitment to learning and sharing knowledge never weakened. Those difficult years strengthened his belief that education was not merely a profession it was his purpose.
Driven by this vision, Shahnawaz Khan took a courageous leap and launched his own computer training centre. The journey was anything but easy. With limited financial resources, his family stood firmly beside him. His mother & father even mortgaged family jewellery so he could invest in his dream and establish his institute. It was a sacrifice he considers the true foundation of BIIT Campus and a constant reminder of the responsibility he carries toward every student who walks through its doors. The early years tested his determination. Building trust as a young entrepreneur was difficult, and the institute struggled for several years. In 2016, he expanded by opening two centres, but managing multiple branches with limited resources proved challenging. Just as the institute began gaining momentum, life presented another major setback. In 2019, a serious illness left him on complete bed rest for nearly forty days, bringing both his personal life and business to a standstill. Soon after recovering, the COVID-19 pandemic created another unprecedented challenge, forcing him to rebuild his institution almost from scratch. Yet, every setback strengthened his resolve. Instead of giving up, he continued investing in his students, his team, and his vision. His perseverance gradually transformed BIIT Campus into one of the region’s most trusted skill-development institutes.
A defining milestone arrived on 29 February 2024, when he was recognised among the prestigious 100 Under 100 achievers. Rather than treating the honour as a destination, he viewed it as a reminder to work even harder towards excellence in education.
Under his visionary leadership, BIIT Campus has received several distinguished recognitions, including the India’s Best Top 100 Institute Award, presented by Ashneer Grover in Mumbai, the Best Skill Learning Institute of the Year 2025 award in the presence of Tusshar Kapoor, and the Best Training Institute of the Year award presented by Dino Morea in Delhi. These honours reflect the institute’s commitment to bridging the gap between education and employability by equipping students with practical skills, confidence, technical expertise, and professional values.
