The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP)’s protest on Monday has taken an interesting turn as they according to CJP leaders, Central government has contacted with the party for the first time since the protest is going on in Jantar Mantar at Delhi. CJP said that two of their leaders are on their way to meet Union minister and BJP president JP Nadda. However, the government has made any official announcement regarding the same.
Following claims of initial government contact during their Jantar Mantar, Delhi protest, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka are en route to meet Union Minister JP Nadda.
CJP Says It Is Going to Meet JP Nadda
As thousands of protestors have come to Jantar Mantar after their proposed ‘Chalo Sansad’ march, CJP’s spokesperson Saurav Das announced that he and his fellow Ashutosh Ranka are on their way to meet JP Nadda.
Saurav Das shared on social media post, “Ashutosh Ranka and I, on behalf of the Cockroach Janta Party, are on our way to meet JP Nadda. The government had reached out for talks in the morning. Our demands are clear. The youth has gathered in huge numbers.”

This is the first time CJP has claimed that someone from government side has contacted them since the time protest has started.
Party Says It Is Ready for Dialogue
Earlier in the morning Saurav Das told ANI that CJP leaders are ready to talk to government if the discussions came forward.
“They have come very late, but we have opened our hearts and said that we are willing to talk to them. There has been no clarity from their side as of now. The ball is in their court,” he said.
However, the nothing coming from the government side makes this claims unverified till the government says that the meeting has been taken place or the talks have been started.
Interestingly, the protest took a major boom after the climate activist Sonam Wangchuk who was on the hunger strike since last 20 days has been shifted to Safdarjung Hospital on 18 July. CJP has made allegations that government forcefully took him to the hospital. After this, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke also started hunger strike.
