Hyderabad Metro is planning to take major steps to improve services to its 69-KM Metro network. HMRL Additional Managing Director B Ajith Reddy held a review meeting held on 15 July, and asked Metro officials to add more coaches to improve connectivity.

Hyderabad Metro plans service improvements for its 69-KM network, with Additional MD B Ajith Reddy directing officials on July 15 to add more coaches, enhance passenger facilities, improve last-mile connectivity with TSRTC, and integrate with Indian Railways.
Focus on Passenger Facilities and Crowd Management
The meeting was focused to passengers amenities, station cleanliness, parking facilities, safety measures, crowd management and transport services for last-miles. HMRL Managing Director Shivendra Pratap and other officials joined the meeting.
Ajith Reddy asked the metro officials to ask manufactures to add more metro coaches as soon as possible. He also mentioned to make everyone ready to focus only for passengers safety and comfortable to increase travel experience.
Better Connectivity Between Stations and Destinations
The meeting held being discussed transport increasement for the passengers after they leave Metro stations. Ajith Reddy also asked the officials to meet and connect with TSRTC to increase transport services till the last mile-connectivity. He also said that the services that are already available should be increased.
Station-Wise Plans for Easy Passenger Movement
Reddy also asked the officials to expand elevators in the metro stations and he also said to ask Railways authorities to connect links between Hyderabad metro to Indian railways stations. He said that the plans should be made station-specific and make pilot projects first be available to selection stations. He also shared that soon he will make visit to the stations to inspect the improvements.
PRTS Projects Also Reviewed
The Public Rapid Transit System (PRTS) is also being reviewed in the meeting in areas like Hitec City, Raidurg, Gachibowli, Financial District and Kondanpur. The passengers safety also discussed in the meeting and asked Metro Rail Security Department to make sure passengers protection.
