With AI-generated celebrity images becoming increasingly sophisticated and difficult to identify, the photo has triggered intense speculation among fans and political observers alike.
A widely shared photo allegedly showing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay with his son Jason Sanjay is unverified, sparking speculation it may be AI-generated amid ongoing public attention regarding his family’s distance since assuming office.
“Is this a recent photo,” a user on social media asked. Another responded, “this is Ai-generated picture.”
The third user questioned, “Is it real or fake?” A netizen declared, “it’s a fake photo.”
However, there is no clarify on the authenticity of the photo and it appears to be an Ai-generated picture.
Since taking office, Vijay has been visited by several celebrities, party members and well-wishers at his official residence and office. Notably absent, however, have been members of his immediate family.
The absence of Vijay’s wife and children has continued to attract public attention ever since his sweeping electoral victory. Reports suggest that his estranged wife, Sangeetha, had filed for divorce earlier this year, seeking to end their 26-year marriage. According to reports, the petition included allegations of infidelity and claims that Vijay was involved in a relationship with an actress. The divorce filing reportedly came in March, during the peak of the Tamil Nadu election campaign.
Vijay and Sangeetha have two children (Jason Sanjay) and daughter (Divya Sasha). Social media activity by the family has also fuelled speculation. Jason has reportedly unfollowed Vijay, while Divya has remained silent publicly. Both children are believed to be staying abroad with their mother.
While Vijay’s parents have appeared alongside him at political events and public gatherings, his wife and children have continued to maintain a low profile and distance themselves from the political spotlight.
Meanwhile, rumours linking actress Trisha to Vijay have continued to circulate online. Speculation about their relationship intensified after Trisha attended Vijay’s oath-taking ceremony as Chief Minister, though neither of them has publicly commented on the rumours.
