Protesters Also Target Congress
The students have also asked Congress to withdraw their support from JMM-led coalition government if their concerns are not being addressed.
JPSC-JSSC Reforms Manch leader Ravindra Paswan said, “We will gherao the chief minister’s residence on August 20. We seek his resignation as both the JMM and the Congress are playing politics with us.”
He also said, “Rahul Gandhi spoke to us on phone. But such symbolisms won’t work anymore…”
What Is The JSSC-CGL Controversy?
The issue is related to alleged irregularities around the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination. However, a Jharkhand High Court order directed that Special Investigation Team had found the evidence of candidates being allegedly cheated or extorted for alleged providing question paper, but they didn’t find any evidence related to it. Although, the supplementary investigation is still going on.
