On Monday in Cambridge, Massachusetts, state police shot a 20-year-old male suspect during a confrontation responding to reports of an armed man, causing gunshot wounds to at least three victims near Memorial Drive.
According to authorities, officers from the Massachusetts State Police rushed to the area around 808 Memorial Drive after receiving emergency calls about a potentially dangerous situation involving a firearm.
The incident later escalated into a police confrontation during which shots were fired.

Suspect Shot By State Police
Officials said a 20-year-old male suspect was shot by state police officers during the confrontation. Authorities stated that the suspect was “taken down” at the scene after the exchange of gunfire. However, police have not yet released the identity of the suspect or additional details about his condition.

Multiple Victims Suffered Gunshot Wounds
Emergency medical teams were immediately sent to the scene after reports of multiple injuries. According to initial reports, at least three people suffered gunshot wounds during the incident.
The injured victims were treated by emergency responders before being transported for further medical care.
