Mumbai vehicle owners with pending traffic challans will have another opportunity to clear eligible fines on September 12, when the National Lok Adalat is held across designated courts.

The one-day legal exercise is meant to make the settlement of eligible challans simpler, allowing vehicle owners to resolve certain cases without having to go through a lengthy court process. Lok Adalat provides a quicker, mutually agreeable way of settling eligible disputes, including certain traffic challans, as permitted under the law.

Mumbai vehicle owners can settle eligible traffic challans on September 12 at the National Lok Adalat held in designated courts, simplifying the resolution process after checking eligibility via the Mumbai Traffic Police or Parivahan portals.
