To mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is conducting the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ across the country. As part of the campaign, various programmes are being organised to take to the people the inspiring journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his spirit of service, dedication, patriotism and good governance.
As part of this campaign, the ‘Namo Seva–Unsuni Kahaniyan’ street play initiative was launched in Maharashtra at KC College in Mumbai. BJP Maharashtra State President Ravindra Chavan was present as the chief guest at the programme. The artists and organisers involved in the street play initiative were also felicitated on the occasion.
BJP launches ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ street plays in Maharashtra, celebrating PM Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life. State President Ravindra Chavan expects record-breaking success, similar to ‘Hanuman Ansh’. This campaign aims to inspire millions with Modi’s journey of service and good governance through engaging performances.

The objective of the initiative is to effectively take the story of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s struggles, spirit of service, commitment to the nation and journey of public service to the people through street plays. Artists from Pimpri-Chinchwad will present inspiring episodes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life through street plays across different parts of Maharashtra.
By October 15, 2026, a major play will be staged in every district of the state, while at least 10 street plays are planned in every Assembly constituency. The campaign will therefore be conducted on a large scale across Maharashtra. The initiative will also provide an opportunity to emerging artists to use street theatre for public awareness and to convey social messages.

‘Namo Seva Gatha’ Will Also Create a Record: Ravindra Chavan
Speaking at the programme, Ravindra Chavan said that the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi inspires people across the country towards service, good governance, dedication and patriotism. He described ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ as a commendable initiative aimed at taking inspiring episodes from the Prime Minister’s life to the people through street plays.
Expressing confidence in the initiative, Chavan said that just as the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, made by emerging artists, created a record, the ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ street play initiative would also create a record.
