BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by accusing him of playing politics over the ongoing students protest in Jharkhand.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey accused Rahul Gandhi of politicizing the Jharkhand student protest, comparing him to Muhammad Ali Jinnah and demanding a CBI probe into alleged recruitment irregularities linked to government officials.
But that was not it, Dubey went on to compare Rahul Gandhi to Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah, claiming that the Congress leaders were “worse than Jinnah.”
Posting on social media handle X, “Jinnah’s second birth has taken place in the form of Rahul Gandhi,” Dubey wrote.
He then added, “Dubey said “Rahul Gandhi ji are the true heirs of Jinnah ji.”

Speaking to reporters later, he alleged that Rahul Gandhi was supporting protests only when they suited his political agenda. He also claimed that if the Congress genuinely stood with the protesting students, it should withdraw its support from the Hemant Soren-led government in Jharkhand.
According to Dubey, failing to do so would raise questions about the party’s intentions.

BJP Demands CBI Probe
The BJP MP also questioned why the state government was not agreeing to a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged recruitment irregularities.
Dubey claimed that one of the accused in the case had links with senior government officials and alleged that an independent investigation could reveal a larger conspiracy.

He further accused the Congress of working according to what he described as George Soros’ agenda, alleging that Rahul Gandhi frequently appears wherever protests are organised against the Prime Minister.
These allegations have not been supported by evidence in Dubey’s public remarks, and neither Rahul Gandhi nor the Congress has responded to the comments so far.
Jharkhand Students’ Protest Continues
Today on (Wednesday) marks the 19th day of the protest with the protesters refusing to end their demonstrations despite the state government’s assurances of reforms in recruitment process.
The protest turned tense earlier this week when students attempted to march towards the Jharkhand Assembly.
Police used lathi-charge, water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowd after the situation escalated.
