Rahul Gandhi on Saturday called on India’s youth to keep protesting, promising that his party would continue its fight against the government. He asserted that those who had attacked the Constitution would be defeated and said the Congress stood firmly with young people raising their voices.

Rahul Gandhi urged Indian youth to continue protesting at Chennai’s Chhatron Ki Goonj event, criticizing PM Modi and the RSS. He vowed Congress would defend the Constitution against figures like Modi, Shah, Bhagwat, Kumar, and Doval, whom he characterized as cowards.

Addressing the Chhatron Ki Goonj event in Chennai, the Congress leader also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the RSS. Gandhi alleged that “cowardice” was the “core characteristic” of both the Prime Minister and the organisation.

Gandhi further named Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, claiming that the space around them was gradually closing.

“I’ve been fighting Narendra Modi and the RSS for over a decade now. I understand them like you would understand your opponent – inside out, like the back of my hand,” Gandhi said on X.

I’ve been fighting Narendra Modi and the RSS for over a decade now. We are closing that space. Mr. Modi, do whatever you want. Call out all the police: 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, whatever you want.Arrest all the leaders. Arrest all the young people. Arrest us all. We are surrounding you, and we are not going to back down. Mark my words: we already have the information we need.We are going to defend our Constitution. We are going to protect the voice of the Indian people. And we are going to ensure that what was done to India over the last 10-15 years will never, ever be done again.Youth of India, I am proud of you. Keep protesting. We are standing with you.We are going to ensure that this regime and the people who have attacked our Constitution are defeated.

“We are going to ensure that this regime and the people who have attacked our Constitution are defeated,” he asserted.

CJP Protest In Delhi Leads To Mass Detentions

Gandhi’s remarks come amid the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Saturday.

Delhi Police detained more than 3,000 protesters attempting to reach the site, while over 600 people with criminal records were also detained as a preventive measure.

Police said permission for the protest had not been granted and prohibitory orders were in force in the New Delhi area.
