Ram Mandir Trust May Soon Appoint Joint, Deputy CEOs, DMRC Engineer May Get Key Role

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is going to strength its administrative and management structure after a huge haul of donation theft case. The trust in Ayodhya soon can appoint a Joint CEO and Duputy CEO after Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra has already been appointed as Trust’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Now he is going to shift Ayodhya permanently after his residential arrangements have been completed and started working on the trust’s future plans.

DMRC Engineer Sudarshan Kumar in Focus

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) executive engineer Sudarshan Kumar is also in the prominent names that are being discussed for key responsibility. Sudarshan Kumar who has RSS background had already taken leave from DMRC during 2021-22 to assist Ram Mandir construction.

He was only engineer who served the project while his service with DMRC. Earlier IIT Bombay engineers Jagdish Afle, Girish Sahasrabhojney, Jagannath Gulve and Avinash Sangamlekar had also contributed to the temple construction.

Kumar Meets Senior Trust Officials

Sudarshan Kumar has also shown interest in continuing his association with the project. During the tenure of interim general secretary Krishna Mohan, he also visited Ayodhya and stayed for a week. He then again returned during Janmashtami festival after invited by the trust.

During the visit, Sudarshan Kumar visited Ram Temple and met Trust general secretary Govind Dev Giri and treasure Mahesh Bhagchandka for discussions.

Names May Be Finalised Before December

The Joint CEO and Deputy CEO appointments are going to be happen after Mishra’s appointment. Govind Dev Giri had already announced the plan on 2 September and the names will be finalised before Trust’s meeting on 2nd December. A committee has submitted panels with three names each from three categories from which the Trust will make the final selection.
