The National Testing Agency has uploaded the UGC NET June 2026 Question Paper With Provisional Answer Key on August 16. The aspirants who had appeared for the exam can view the provisional key, recorded responses, and question papers on the UGC NET website.
The provisional answer keys for all the 84 subjects have been released. The candidates can compare their responses with the provisional answer key to calculate their estimated scores. In addition, the candidates can also raise any objections against the answer displayed in the provisional key within the stipulated time limit.
On August 16, the National Testing Agency released the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key for all 84 subjects, allowing candidates who took the exam between June 22-30 to view responses and raise objections for a Rs. 200 fee per challenge.

Steps to View UGC NET Answer Key 2026
Candidates can view the UGC NET Answer Key 2026 following the procedure below.
1. The candidates must first visit the official website of the UGC NET Answer Key 2026.
2. Then they have to click on the link for UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key.
3. The next step is to enter the application number and the password or the date of birth.
4. Now, the candidates can view the provisional answer key, recorded responses, and question paper.
5. The aspirants need to cross-verify their responses and download the documents for future reference.
UGC NET Answer Key 2026 – How to Raise Objections?
The candidates can raise objections against any of the answers displayed in the provisional answer key before the deadline. A processing fee of Rs. 200 will be levied for each challenge made by the candidates.
To raise objections against any answer, the candidates have to perform the following steps.
1. The candidates need to log in to the official website of UGC NET Result 2026.
2. Next, they have to select the question against which they want to raise the objection.
3. Then, the candidates have to choose an option that they think is the correct answer.
4. In addition, they also have to upload the supporting documents, if any.
5. Once the objection has been scrutinized, the candidates will have to pay the processing fee to confirm the objection.
6. The candidates need to save the objection confirmation page and the receipt for any future reference.
Once the final answer key is released, no further objections or challenges will be entertained by the authorities.
What Happens After Provisional Answer Key?
The National Testing Agency will consider the objections raised by the candidates with the help of subject experts. Based on the objections raised, the final answer key will be formulated by the NTA. The final answer key will be used for the calculation of the UGC NET Result 2026.
The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted via CBT from June 22 to June 30, 2026. The exam for those who had chosen Jalandhar as the exam centre was conducted on July 5 because of some administrative issues.
Candidates can use the UGC NET score to apply for a Junior Research Fellowship, Lectureship, and admission to various PhD programs offered by universities and colleges in the country.
