Under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is continuously working to strengthen and expand industrial infrastructure across the state.

Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) CEO Dr. Balkar Singh inspected Kannauj’s Perfume Park, focusing on infrastructure, connectivity to the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, and resolving entrepreneur issues to support the state’s economic goals.

The authority is making an important contribution towards the goal of making Uttar Pradesh a $1 trillion economy.

In this regard, Dr. Balkar Singh, Chief Executive Officer of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA), visited the Perfume Park industrial area in Kannauj district and conducted an on-site inspection of the development works underway and the infrastructure facilities available there.

During the visit, necessary directions were issued to the concerned officials regarding the overall development of the Perfume Park, better connectivity and provision of necessary facilities to entrepreneurs.

The Chief Executive Officer directed the concerned officials to take necessary action on a priority basis by establishing effective coordination with UPEIDA regarding ensuring the Perfume Park’s connectivity with the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. He directed that necessary proposals be prepared and further action be ensured at the earliest to develop smooth movement and better connectivity in the industrial area.

During the visit, directions were also given to examine, as per rules, the provision of petrol pumps, hotels and other necessary commercial and civic facilities for the convenience of entrepreneurs, investors and visitors in the industrial area. The Chief Executive Officer directed the concerned officials to prepare a comprehensive roadmap and ensure time-bound action for the planned development of these facilities.

The Chief Executive Officer directed the Regional Manager, Kanpur, to examine problems and pending cases related to the allotment of plots in the Perfume Park on a priority basis and ensure their immediate and time-bound resolution, so that entrepreneurs and investors do not face any difficulties.

In addition, all concerned officials were directed to ensure the availability of gas supply and other essential basic and infrastructure facilities in the industrial area by establishing effective coordination with the district administration and concerned departments/agencies and taking prompt action.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Balkar Singh said that UPSIDA is continuously working to promote industrial investment in the state and provide a favourable environment for industries. Effective operation of basic infrastructure facilities in industrial areas, time-bound resolution of entrepreneurs’ problems and regular dialogue with the industry are among the authority’s key priorities.

He directed the concerned officials to ensure the time-bound and effective resolution of problems and suggestions received from industrial units after examining them as per rules. He also directed that necessary action be taken on a priority basis to maintain high standards of infrastructure facilities in industrial areas.

The Chief Executive Officer directed that all concerned officials and departments should work in mutual coordination and ensure priority-based and time-bound action to develop the Perfume Park as a modern, well-equipped and investment-friendly industrial area.

UPSIDA is continuously coordinating with industries and industrial organisations across the state with the objective of accelerating industrial development, providing necessary facilities to investors and further strengthening the ‘Ease of Doing Business’.
