A change in leadership has occurred in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, with Govind Dev Giri being appointed as the new General Secretary of the organization.
This is after the post was vacated by Krishna Mohan, whose term ended as he resigned from the post of the General Secretary of the Trust.

Govind Dev Giri, previously Treasurer, is the new General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya, succeeding Krishna Mohan who resigned. Giri assumes administrative responsibilities for the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.

This appointment came after a critical meeting held at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Govind Dev Giri Takes Charge As General Secretary

The individual known by the name of Govind Dev Giri is linked to the Ram Mandir Trust and previously held the position of the Treasurer in the organization.

In the coming days, he will be performing the functions of the General Secretary.
This is because Krishna Mohan, who had taken charge of the position of General Secretary since 6 July, resigned from the post.

Why Krishna Mohan Resigned

Krishna Mohan had taken charge as interim General Secretary on July 6.
Following his resignation, the Trust decided to hand over the responsibility to Govind Dev Giri, who was already part of the organisation as its Treasurer.

The change comes as the Trust continues to oversee activities connected with the Ram Mandir and the wider Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya.

VHP President Alok Kumar Welcomes Appointment

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) International President Alok Kumar welcomed Giri’s appointment.

In a statement, Kumar said an important meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was held in Ayodhya, where the decision regarding the new General Secretary was taken.

He described Giri’s appointment as a matter of joy and congratulated him on taking up the new responsibility.

Kumar also expressed confidence in Giri’s leadership, saying his experience would provide guidance to those associated with the Trust.

Govind Dev Giri’s Earlier Role In The Trust

Before becoming General Secretary, Govind Dev Giri served as the Treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

His move to the General Secretary’s position means he will now have a greater role in the Trust’s administrative functioning.

The Trust plays a central role in overseeing the development and management of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex in Ayodhya.

What The General Secretary’s Role Means

The General Secretary is among the important office-bearers responsible for the Trust’s functioning. The role involves administrative responsibilities and coordination related to the Trust’s activities and decisions.
With Govind Dev Giri now taking charge, attention will be on how the Trust handles its ongoing responsibilities and future plans for the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
