The second season of popular reality show Lock Upp has ended with a dramatic grand finale and contestant Shreya Kalra won the title after defeating television actress Shivangi Joshi by just seven vote margin.

Shreya Kalra won the second season of Lock Upp, defeating Shivangi Joshi by a narrow margin of seven votes and receiving a ₹1 crore cash prize decided by jailers, contestants, and the Janta Ki Jury.
Alongside the trophy, Shreya also got 1 crore Rs prize money. The result was so intrigued that it made contestants waiting till the last moment. The show was quite popular on social media and it telecasted on Netflix.
Grand Finale Decided by Jailers, Contestants and Jury
The hosts of the show, Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh revealed that the result of the show was based on the votes of the jailers, fellow inmates and Janta Ki Jury. Both the finalists Shivangi Joshi and Shreya Kalra got immense support but Kalra won the season by a close margin.
After the votes full counted, Shreya Kalra was declared winner by the hosts and Shivangi Joshi was announced runner-up.
Shreya Opens Up After Winning
While sharing her happiness after winning the show, she said that she gave everything to the show.
She said, “I gave everything to the show, be it mentally, physically, or emotionally. I am emotionally not doing well, but the Rs 1 crore will help me.”
However, Farah Khan responded in a fun way, “What about the mental health of others?”
Shreya replied to this, “I’ll pay for everyone’s therapy if I win.”
Fans React to the Close Contest
The social media has divided for the result, while many supported Shreya Kalra for her honest, resilient and deserving title. On the other hand, Shivangi Joshi’s fans expressed huge disappointment after the result, especially the narrow result. Her fans said that she was one of the key performers in the show. However, many said that the seven votes different shows how close the finalists were.
