BJP president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Wednesday (July 22) at 8:30 pm and pushed back against the Opposition’s attack over the NEET paper leak issue, saying the government is ready for a discussion in Parliament and accusing Rahul Gandhi of using students’ concerns for political gain.

BJP President JP Nadda stated the government is ready for a parliamentary discussion on the NEET paper leak and accused Rahul Gandhi of political opportunism, referencing past paper leaks in opposition-ruled states.
The issue has triggered sharp exchanges between the government and Opposition, both inside and outside Parliament.
The BJP chief said the Centre had not avoided debate on the matter. He referred to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju’s remarks and said the government was prepared to discuss “every issue”, including NEET, the alleged paper leak and all related developments arising from it.

JP Nadda Questions Rahul Gandhi Over Being Biased
BJP president J.P. Nadda also questioned Rahul Gandhi’s stand, asking, “Why are you being selective?” He accused the Congress leader of ignoring paper leak incidents that took place in states governed by the INDIA alliance.

“Why didn’t you talk about those? Why did you distance yourself from them?” Nadda said. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi’s concern was not genuinely for students or improving the quality of education, but was instead aimed at gaining political mileage.
“You are trying to use students’ demands for political gains and to serve your political interests.
That is really unfortunate,” he said. However, Nadda added that this was not the time to indulge in a “your government versus our government” debate. He acknowledged that there was a long list of paper leak cases during the UPA government’s tenure as well, but stressed that the focus should now be on finding solutions rather than trading allegations. “The best platform to have this discussion is Parliament,” he said.
