In one of the heartbreaking incident from Indapur in Maharashtra, where a 65 year old man was allegedly assaulted by his two sons during a dispute over a piece of land.
In Indapur, Maharashtra, 65-year-old Tukaram Raut was allegedly assaulted by his sons, Sanjay and Rajendra Raut, during a dispute over selling ancestral land. Following the incident, captured on video, Raut filed a police complaint, and an investigation is underway.
The incident reportedly took place in a public area near Salim Lawns in Indapur city. A video showing the elderly man being beaten on the street has surfaced on social media and is now going viral.
The victim, identified as Tukaram Raut, later approached the police and filed a complaint against his two sons.
Dispute Over Sale Of Land
According to the police complaint, the dispute was between Tukaram Raut and his sons over the sale of a land.
The property in question was reportedly registered in the name of Raut’s wife, Anjana Raut. His sons allegedly objected to their father selling the property, leading to a confrontation between the family members.
The Indapur police in Maharashtra have registered a case against two brothers for allegedly assaulting their elderly parents with a wooden stick and threatening them with death amid a dispute over the sale of land registered in their mothers name.

Sons Allegedly Attack Father With Wooden Stick
The two sons- Sanjay Tukaram and Rajendra Tukaram Raut, confronted him and questioned him about the land. The argument allegedly turned violent, with the two men assaulting their father using a wooden stick.
The incident happened in a public place, where people were present. Someone recorded the confrontation on a mobile phone, and the footage later appeared on social media. The video shows the elderly man being attacked on the road, while the confrontation draws attention from people around the scene.
Father Approaches Indapur Police
After the assault, Tukaram Raut visited the Indapur police station and lodged a case against his two sons.
The police have now filed a case against Sanjay Tukaram Raut and Rajendra Tukaram Raut.
Now the investigating agency is probing into the incident, which includes the issue of land dispute between the old man and his sons.
