Earlier this month, Doval held meetings in Saudi Arabia with senior leaders. The discussions covered bilateral relations and the regional situation. Doval met Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan. Doval also met Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman and National Security Advisor Musaed Al-Aiban.
The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia shared details in a post on X. It said the meetings addressed ties and other shared concerns. Ajit Doval UAE visit amid US-Iran peace talks in Pakistan
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday landed in Pakistan again. It was the second visit in three days. Araghchi met Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. There was no official word from Pakistan about the meeting and its exact outcomes.
The meeting was linked to Islamabad’s efforts on possible talks, as per reports. It apparently focused on ongoing peace efforts. These efforts aimed to arrange the second round of talks between the US and Iran. Against this backdrop, Doval’s UAE engagement also included discussion of the regional situation.
