Union Minister Chirag Paswan became visibly emotional, wiping tears during a Ganpati Visarjan ceremony attended by actor Vishal Singh, with a video capturing the moment going viral and eliciting diverse online reactions and comparisons.
There is a video of Union Minister Chirag Paswan that has gone viral on social media when it comes to Ganpati visarjan. The video shows the Union Minister becoming emotional as he is participating in the visarjan ceremony and can be seen wiping tears from his eyes.
Chirag Paswan Gets Emotional During Ganpati Visarjan
Paswan was also spotted at the Ganpati visarjan event along with actor from TV Vishal Singh. Both were wearing similar pink clothes as they were joining other devotees for the immersion ritual.
While the idol was being taken to the visarjan spot, Paswan was found to be quite emotional and wiping tears off his face. Vishal Singh was also seen to be emotional during the farewell ritual.
The video soon gained traction online and people began reacting in various ways about Paswan’s look. While some found it quite an emotional moment on part of Paswan in saying goodbye to Bappa, others raised questions about him crying at that point of time.

Even an Internet user compared the look to the trending “Bapu, Bapu” meme of a Samajwadi Party leader crying in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue. “Pehle Bapu & ab Bappa,” the Internet user said.
From Bollywood To Politics: Chirag Paswan’s Acting Days
Before entering politics, Chirag Paswan had a brief stint in Bollywood. He made his acting debut with the 2011 Hindi film Miley Naa Miley Hum, in which he appeared alongside Kangana Ranaut.
Directed by Tanveer Khan, the film also featured Kabir Bedi, Poonam Dhillon, Sagarika Ghatge and Neeru Bajwa. Paswan played the lead role before eventually moving away from the film industry and pursuing a political career.
Looking back at his acting experience, Paswan has previously described his Bollywood stint as a “disaster”. In an interview with The Indian Express, he recalled being the first person in his family to try entering the film industry.
Paswan had said that no one from his family had previously been associated with Bollywood and that he soon realised acting was not the right career for him.
