From Gojegaon to the Camera: Ramesh Sangle’s Dream That Refused to Die

Some dreams don’t fade. They simply wait for the right time. Ramesh Sangle’s journey is proof of that an inspiring story of a boy from a small village Gojegaon near Hingoli, Maharashtra, who grew up with limited resources but unlimited imagination, and today stands proudly as an actor, performer, and the titleholder of Mr Bharat USA 2025.

Ramesh’s story begins like many middle-class Indian households: responsibilities first, dreams later. Coming from a modest background, he was never handed shortcuts. Yet, one thing remained constant his deep love for cinema, and his obsession with Shah Rukh Khan. Like countless young boys in India, he didn’t just admire SRK. He saw hope in him. He saw possibility.

But life had its own script.

While the dream of acting lived inside him, reality demanded stability. Ramesh pursued engineering and built a professional career in the IT industry. Today, he lives in the United States with his beloved wife Pallavi who had been constant piller and support for him and their two children Rajveer and Premveer. His parents and younger brother continue to live in India a connection that keeps his roots intact even as his life expands globally.

For many, this would have been the end of the dream. A job. A settled life. Responsibilities. The “acting phase” left behind.

But Ramesh never truly left it behind.

Even while working in corporate life, he kept the artist alive within him. And slowly, the dream began to find its way back first through courage, then through opportunities. Over the years, Ramesh worked across Indian television and entertainment, appearing in popular shows like Imlie (Star Plus), Yeh Hai Chahatein (Star Plus), Bhagyalakshmi (Zee TV), Molkki (Colors), Chickoo (Star Plus), and Lovepantti (MX Player).

But what makes his story emotional is not just the credits it’s the timing.

Ramesh’s journey unfolded in the phase of life when most people believe it’s too late to begin. He wasn’t chasing a dream at 18. He was fighting for it through adulthood hrough work pressure, financial challenges, and even global uncertainty like COVID.

Even the pandemic could not stop him.

Instead, it strengthened his belief that life is fragile and if you don’t chase what you love, you may never forgive yourself.

In December 2025, Ramesh’s journey reached a proud milestone when he was honoured with the title Mr Bharat USA 2025, during a national-level pageant conducted by MydreamUSA in New Jersey. The award was presented by Bollywood actor Jugal Hansraj, making the moment even more special for a man who grew up watching Bollywood with stars in his eyes.

His pageant journey also includes being the 1st Runner-Up at the Connecticut State Pageant and at the national level in 2024 recognised by celebrities like Neelam Kothari and Tulip Joshi.
In pagentry journey ‘Ramesh would like to thank his mentor and inspiration ‘Mohana Namale Jog’, and MydreamUSA and all the members of mymoda glam who has always inspired and stood by him.’

Today, Ramesh is actively involved in community theatre in the USA, proving that he is not slowing down. If anything, he is just getting started. He will soon be seen playing one of the lead roles in SETU’s “When Gandhi and Mohammed Meet.” The play has already completed 18 successful shows, including four sold-out off-Broadway performances in New York. Known as one of SETU’s most challenging productions, the play is now lined up for Boston, MA (March) and New Brunswick, NJ (April). It is written, directed, and cast by Subrata Das.

SETU, a non-profit community theatre group based in the Boston area since 2003, derives its name from the word “bridge” in several Indian languages. Its mission is to build bridges between Indian and Western cultures through theatre a vision that perfectly aligns with Ramesh’s journey across two worlds.

His message to the audience is rooted in lived truth:
“Don’t stop dreaming. Dreams will come true when the right time comes. Keep working hard and set high goals.”

As Mr Bharat USA, he also carries a larger responsibility representing India and contributing to both the Indian and American communities through social causes wherever needed.

Ramesh Sangle’s story feels personal because it reflects what many people experience silently: dreams that feel lost under pressure, responsibilities that bury ambition, and a life that doesn’t go as planned.

But sometimes, destiny changes the plan.

And as SRK once said, “Kisi cheez ko shiddat se chaho, toh puri kainaat tumhe usse milane mein lag jaati hai.”
Ramesh Sangle didn’t just believe in that line. He lived it.
