Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has launched the *Swirl Transit Hotel*, an 80-room property at Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), offering passengers a convenient option to rest, refresh or work without leaving the airport premises.

Swirl Transit Hotel opens at Navi Mumbai

Located on the Arrivals Level of Terminal 1, the two-floor transit hotel has been designed to cater to passengers with long layovers, early departures, late arrivals and other short-stay requirements. Guests can choose between four-hour and overnight stays.

Adani Airport Holdings launches the Swirl Transit Hotel at Navi Mumbai International Airport, offering 80 rooms across six categories with 24-hour dining and 24-hour in-room services. A planned 21-room facility at Lokpriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport in Guwahati will extend transit hospitality within secured airport zones.

The hotel has 80 rooms spread across six categories, including Superior Single, Superior Double, Superior Twin, Superior Accessible, Junior Suite and Executive Suite. Room sizes range from 130 sq ft to 410 sq ft. Facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi, smart televisions, dedicated workstations, electronic safes, tea and coffee facilities, premium bed and bath linen, toiletries and in-room dining.

Guests can also access express laundry, concierge assistance, 24-hour housekeeping, pick-up and drop services and wake-up calls.

24-Hour Dining Facility

The Swirl Transit Hotel also features a 24-hour all-day dining restaurant with seating for 40 guests. The property provides round-the-clock in-room dining, grab-and-go food options and a bar. The hotel is aimed particularly at transit passengers who need a place to stay within the airport while waiting for connecting flights or during extended travel schedules.

AAHL Plans Swirl Hotel In Guwahati

Following the Navi Mumbai launch, the Swirl Transit Hotel concept is planned to expand to *Lokpriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport (LGBIA) in Guwahati*. A 21-room property is planned on Level 3 of the Arrivals area within the airport-secured zone of Terminal 2. The Guwahati facility will offer hourly and overnight stays, along with dining and hospitality services.

It is expected to cater to transit passengers, arriving and departing travellers with extended waiting periods, as well as business travellers. Dedicated workstations and meeting-friendly spaces will also allow passengers to handle work between flights.

Navi Mumbai International Airport Expands Passenger Services

Navi Mumbai International Airport is one of India’s largest greenfield international airport projects and was developed to meet the growing aviation requirements of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The airport commenced commercial operations on December 25, 2025, and began international operations on July 29, 2026, with its first international flight to Abu Dhabi.

The launch of the Swirl Transit Hotel adds another hospitality and non-aeronautical service to the airport’s growing passenger ecosystem.

Suchit Bansal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Non-Aero Business, AAHL, said the transit hotel brings accommodation into the airport environment and gives travellers greater flexibility to rest, work or refresh between flights.

He added that the company sees an opportunity to take the concept to other airports across its network and build a wider transit hospitality offering. The launch is part of AAHL’s broader focus on expanding non-aeronautical services across its airport network and providing passengers with additional services within airport premises.
