Popular Kannada actor and comedian Chikkanna’s wedding reception with Pavana was held in Mysuru on Saturday evening.
The wedding celebrations, an arranged match supported by both families, began on Saturday, August 29, at the Spectra Convention Center on Hunsur Road.

“It was our family’s biggest dream to see me get married in front of everyone,” the actor was quoted as saying by a publication.
The two-day celebrations began with a grand reception on Saturday evening, followed by the traditional wedding ceremony on Sunday. Telugu actor Sunil was among the major attractions at the wedding reception.
Several celebrities from the Kannada film industry attended the reception, including Tara, Arun Sagar, Meghana Gaonkar, producer Umapathy Srinivas, Pratham, Aditi Prabhudeva, Rangayana Raghu, Komal Kumar, Dhanveer, Abhishek Ambareesh and Srimurali.
Days ago, photos from the Haldi ceremony held at Pavana’s residence in Mahadevapura had gone viral on social media.
Several other notable celebrities from the Kannada film industry are expected to attend the wedding ceremony on Sunday. Chikkanna has personally extended invitations to several prominent Sandalwood personalities, including actor Yash and Radhika Pandit. However, media reports indicate that actor Darshan was not included on the guest list.
To manage the high-profile gathering, organisers have reportedly put strict entry protocols and designated media zones in place.
Local police expect heavy traffic along Hunsur Road during the celebrations. Commuters heading towards Hinkal Junction have been advised to account for possible traffic diversion.
